Spectacular double chairlift to the
highest point in the ski area<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Gamsleitenbahn 2 operated by Tauernlift GmbH<\/a> is a must for every experienced skier and snowboarder<\/strong>. Once at the mountain station, you will find yourself at an elevation of 2313 m above sea level<\/strong>, which also marks the highest point in the Obertauern ski area<\/strong>. Enjoy the impressive mountain panorama of the Radst\u00e4dter Tauern, with summits as high as 2500 m. Due to the exposed location on the main divide between the northern and southern Alps, this lift only runs in good weather conditions<\/strong>. The mountain terminal is one of the Super Seven.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Gamsleitenkriterium<\/strong>, Austria's biggest treasure hunt, takes place annually in April on the Gamsleiten 2 hill<\/strong>. With participation limited, everyone hunts feverishly for the hidden treasure chests<\/strong>. The competition also requires participants to tackle the Gamsleiten 2 slope by skis or a snowboard. Aside from the numerous smaller prizes, one of the treasure chests also contains the key for the grand prize: a new luxury-class automobile.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
